Major League Pickleball Tour

Challenge:

Grillo’s Pickles needed a way to bring their new partnership as the Official Pickle of Major League Pickleball to life across five cities with unique tournament and venue layouts. Sampling, couponing, and Sam Sam the pickle mascot were the key focuses of Grillo’s overlay with the country’s fastest-growing sport.

Strategy:

Who doesn’t love a fresh, cold pickle with a nod to a key element of the brand’s history between dinks? We concepted and built a nimble activation centered around a refreshed version of the original Grillo’s Pickles cart alongside other elements that could flex between VIP and Player’s Lounges.

Solutions:

Working hand in hand with Grillo’s and MLP, we structured the activations to make the most of each distinctive event setup. The cart, pickleball-themed photo cutout, pickle barrels, mascot, and brine tap were strategically placed ensuring Grillo’s fans and soon-to-be fans in the front and back of house alike could sample spears and get their hands on coupons for more delicious pickles.
